The craft
Nothing here is made in a hurry
A bridal haaram takes our senior karigar between four and six weeks. The wax model alone can take a week — because the drape of a 60-gram necklace is decided long before any gold is poured.
We still do repoussé by hand, still set stones under a loupe, and still weigh every piece in front of the customer. The parts of this trade that machines do better, we let machines do. The parts that hands do better, we don’t.
What that buys you is a piece that sits right — a choker that follows the collarbone, a kada that doesn’t catch, jhumkas light enough to wear through a wedding.

A single bench in Charminar
Amuktha begins as a two-karigar workshop making temple jewellery for local families.
2004
The first showroom
The Banjara Hills store opens, bringing the workshop and the counter under one roof.
2013
Certified from day one
Every piece moves to BIS hallmarking and IGI-certified stones, years before it was mandated.
2019
The savings plan
A monthly gold plan launches so families can build towards a wedding set without timing the market.
